Bloody Good Halloween: Spooky Bloody Mary Bar Ideas

Happy Halloween to the spooky lovers! If you’ve been designing your costume for weeks, binge-watching all the classic horror films, and decking your house out in cobwebs, then we know you’re a real one. And you already know what pairs well with fun-sized candy and caramel corn: Bloody Marys (ahem, they are bloody after all). Every Halloween fête needs a spooky drink bar—one that’s scarily delicious. Keep reading for party ideas or ways to make your chronological viewing of the Halloween franchise more festive. We’ve got a treat for Halloween lovers and maybe a few tricks up our sleeves, too.

Vampire Bloody Mary and Devil’s Delight

(These aren’t regular Bloody Marys; they’re scary Marys!)

A Bloody Mary is the obvious choice for a Halloween drink station. Not only is it on theme, but it’s incredibly easy to make a big batch early and let your guests add rim salt and garnish to make it their own.

  • Vampire Bloody Marys: Combine Demitri’s Classic Bloody Mary Seasoning with tomato juice, vodka, and ice in a pitcher for Vampire Bloodys galore.

  • Devil’s Delight: Use Chipotle Habanero for a fiery kick—pepper-heads beware!

  • Green Goblin Bloody Mary: The vibrant color comes from tomatillo juice and cucumber juice. Get the recipe and even more unique fall cocktail ideas here.

Garnish ideas:

  • Eyeball skewers: Slice cherry tomatoes and stuff them with a mini mozzarella ball and capers for the eyes.

  • Mummy dogs: Try this fun take on pigs in a blanket using crescent rolls or strips of premade dough. Dot on mustard eyes for the finishing touch.

  • Witch’s fingers: Turn Blaze’s Beans or celery sticks into fingers with a dollop of marinara sauce on the end (and a bit of imagination).

Ghoulish margarita

Turn your standard margarita into an eerily good drink. To create the base, use 2 parts Demitri’s Organic Traditional Margarita Mix, 1 part high-quality tequila, and a dash of Cointreau. Top it with a few ounces of green juice from the farmer’s market or your local health food store for a nice color pop. You can also sub in the 38 Calorie Margarita Mix for a lighter version—our trick for a guilt-free treat.

Halloween only comes once a year, but spooky season lasts as long as you want it to. Enjoy your creepy creations and plenty of Reese’s Pumpkins this holiday!
